Volunteers for Outdoor Arizona Outdoor volunteering is fun, as well it should be, but it is also critical. Well constructed and maintained trails foster greater connections to the outdoors, which is literally essential to our health. Hands-on work to restore and protect native habitat enhances the integrity of local ecosystems, which can contribute to everything from cleaner water to greater opportunities for people to experience the joy of nature.
